Our agents

Medicare Agents in Tampa, FL

Independent Medicare agency licensed in Florida, based in Tampa, FL. We help people turning 65, people already on Medicare who want a second opinion, and families sorting out coverage for a parent. There is no charge for that help.

Our team answers when you call, and our team answers next January when something on a bill doesn't look right. You work with the same agents at renewal, not a rotating call center.

How we work

Who we are and how we get paid

We're an independent Medicare agency, not a call center and not a single carrier's sales team. Carriers pay us a commission when someone enrolls in one of their plans. That's the entire fee structure. There is never a charge to you for a consultation, for enrollment, or for a plan review at any point during the year.

Because we're independent, we can compare plans across the carriers we represent instead of steering you toward one company's product. Sometimes the honest answer is that your current plan is already the best fit, and we'll tell you that.

Medicare rules are federal, but plans are local. What matters in Hillsborough County is which carriers hold real provider networks tied to Tampa General, Moffitt Cancer Center and AdventHealth, from Westshore to Brandon, and which quietly dropped a clinic in the last contract year. Hillsborough County also has one of the higher Medicare Advantage plan counts in the state, which makes side-by-side comparison worth doing every year.

First call

What happens when you call us

We start by asking who your doctors are and what medications you take. Then we write out your plan options against that specific list instead of quoting a premium in isolation. If you split time between Tampa and somewhere up north, we'll also cover travel and snowbird coverage so you're not stuck with a network that only works in Florida.

  • Turning 65

I had no clue which forms to file first when I turned 65. We walked through my dates in one call, and I had my Part B start date and a plan locked in before my birthday month.

  • Doctor networks

My cardiologist was the deciding factor. They checked the network before I signed anything and told me straight which plans would let me keep seeing her.

  • Prescription costs

They ran all six of my medications through the drug lists instead of just quoting a premium. My yearly cost dropped, and I still use the same pharmacy off Kennedy Boulevard.
